                         Dwaat Mahadev Chamba is a place with lots of temples. In order to explore Chamba, there's one more beautiful temple of Lord Shiva named the "Dwaat Mahadev" this temple is situated in the dense forests of Mani village one of the villages of Chamba town. This village is about 2325.56 metres above the sea level which gives the Majestic view of Chamba town. The temple is fully surrounded by the beautiful Pine trees. After travelling about 20 to 25 km in the vehicle from the main town people have to go through a short Hike of 30 minutes among those trees which gives a wonderful experience.  This is a very Ancient Temple having beautiful carvings on it. Chamba , which is also known as the place of Lord Shiva is the small town and one of the districts in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh situated in the bank of the River Ravi , at its confluence with the Sal River . Though historical records date the history of the Chamba region to the Kolian tribes in the 2nd century BC, the area was formally ruled by the Maru dynasty , starting with the Raju Maru from around 500 AD, ruling from the ancient capital of Bharmour , which is located 65 kilometres (40 mi) from the town of Chamba. In 920, Raja Sahil Varman (or Raja Sahil Verma) shifted the capital of the kingdom to Chamba, on the behalf of the request of his daughter Champavati . Chamba was named after her name.
